Please see below a message from our Sensei Mike Lance:
My name is Mike Lance and I am the head instructor of the Heritage Academy Jiu-Jitsu program. I hold a 1st degree black belt in Traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu as well as Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu I am also the proud owner of K2 Arts Martiaux in Aylmer Quebec. As previous years, our Coaches will continue to assist me in running the program.
We promote Jiu-Jitsu as a way of life in which we emphasize the importance of honesty, respect and always striving to do our best in all aspects of life to our students. The work we do on the mat is a very small part of what we promote. It is our goal to not only teach students how to defend themselves but to become confident and productive leaders in the community.
I would like to invite all students to try the program, at no cost, next week on Wednesday September 5th, 2018 and Friday September 7th from 3:20pm to 4:20pm. We encourage you to come and watch. Students that are trying out do not need any equipment or uniforms; they can use athletic clothing. I will be available to meet with students and parents during these classes if you have any questions.
The regular classes will run on Monday and Wednesday from 3:20pm to 4:20pm.
