October is LD Awareness Month!

October is Learning Disabilities Awareness Month. There were be a series of activities occurring around the school focusing on removing the stigma still associated to learning disabilities, increasing awareness/understanding and celebrating achievements of individuals with LD's. Stay tuned to our individual educator websites and/or blogs for a look at activities occurring within your child's classroom.

On October 20th staff and students will be invited to a double feature viewing of the films "Red Words" and "Rungs in the Ladder: The Heritage Academy Story"
