Our Scholastic Book Fair is back! Join us on Thursday and Friday, November 27â28, in the Heritage Academy gym. Students will visit the fair with their classes during scheduled times, and families are welcome to stop by during our parent hour from 3:00â4:00 p.m. each day. We accept cash, debit, and credit. Earth Rangers Visit Heritage!Â
Our students had an incredible time during this weekâs visit from the Earth Rangers . They learned all about Canadaâs amazing wildlife, conservation efforts, and how small actions can make a big difference for our planet. From exciting animal facts to engaging demonstrations, the presentation inspired our students to become true protectors of the environment. What a Spooktacular Week at Heritage đť
This yearâs Halloween & Spirit Week was full of creativity, school spirit, and community fun! From our themed dress-up days to the boo-licious  bake sales, cozy movie night, and our always-anticipated costume contest, our students and staff truly brought the magic to life. Our Grade 11 and 12 students enjoyed an inspiring visit to the Dominion Observatory  at the Experimental Farm. Students had the opportunity to learn about Canadaâs rich history in astronomy and geoscience, explore historic equipment, and discuss how scientific research has evolved over time. Geometry in Motion
Some of our Grade 10 Math students showcased both creativity and comprehension by transforming mathematical concepts into movement. Through an impressive interpretive dance, they illustrated their understanding of the distance and midpoint formulas, bringing geometry to life with rhythm, collaboration, and imagination. Their performance beautifully blended logic and expression, proving that math can truly move you!

Phase one of the Heritage Academy Sensory & Therapeutic Garden is officially complete. Pumpkin Run Fun
Our Grade 4, 5, and 6 students had an amazing time participating in this yearâs Pumpkin Run. From cheering on classmates to enjoying the crisp fall weather, the day was filled with laughter, energy, and school spirit. It was wonderful to see everyone challenging themselves, showing teamwork, and celebrating the joy of being active together.
