From Super Hero's to Melted Snowmen

On November 13th-19th Heritage Academy held it's own Bullying Awareness week. During this week, staff and students took part in daily activities to promote discussion surrounding bullying and bullying awareness. At lunch, students also got the opportunity to take part in a Superhero photo-booth compliments of Ms. Skeen. Here are some of these heroic moments:

Last week, our students and staff hosted a Winter Solstice Art Show & Sale. Our Heritage families were invited to join us for an afternoon of art viewing, photo booth fun, hot apple cider, decoration making and cookie decorating. It was a wonderful event that raised almost 500$ towards The Snowsuit Fund of Ottawa and CHEO. Thank you to all who came and all who supported this fundraising initiative.
