On Tuesday April 10th 2018 some students will be writing the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test. The OSSLT is based on the expectations for literacy (reading and writing) across all subjects in The Ontario Curriculum up to the end of Grade 9. These skills are the basis for learning in all subject areas in both middle and secondary school. It is a requirement for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Mr. DiFrancesco has invited all parents/guardians of students writing this test to an information session on Tuesday February 27th from 3:15- 4:00PM to provide some general information regarding the test. The session should last about 30 minutes.
Students will be provided with test booklets and resources that they can use to practice and prepare for the test in the coming week. Mr. Joly and Mr. DiFrancesco will be working together to help prepare and guide students leading up to the test date.
