On Thursday of last week we sent home forms notifying parents that our Me to We club is currently selling handmade Rafiki Bracelets to help Kenyan artisans create a better future for themselves and their families. Not only will the purchase of Rafiki Bracelets better the lives of the Mamas using their long-standing Maasai tradition of beading to create stable sources of income, the Rafikis will also give back by donating to a community overseas through a life-changing impact like clean water or school supplies. Moreover, 50% of the funds raised from the sale will go towards our Me to We club’s community-led We Villages fundraising project.
From now until November 30th, we will be collecting Rafiki Bracelet orders for the holiday season. Bracelets cost $10.00 each.

For any students who have not had a chance to submit their order form yet but wish to do so, Ms. Skeen sent another copy of the form in case theirs has been misplaced. Orders can be handed in to myself or Ms. Pimenta.
